Pigniu is a former municipality in the district of Surselva in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. Its official language is Romansh. Lag da Pigniu is a reservoir above Pigniu in the Grisons, Switzerland. The 53 m gravity dam was completed in 1989. It is operated by Kraftwerke Ilanz AG. Lag da Pigniu is situated 2½ km north of Pigniu.
