Gäbris is a mountain of the Appenzell Alps, overlooking Gais in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Switzerland.

Rietli railway station is a railway station in Gais, in the Swiss canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. It is an intermediate stop on the 1,000 mm metre gauge Altstätten–Gais line and is served by local trains only. Rietli railway station is situated 2½ km south of Gomp.

Ruppen Pass is a high mountain pass between the cantons of St. Gallen and Appenzell Ausserrhoden in Switzerland. It connects Trogen and Altstätten. The pass road has a maximum grade of 9 percent. Ruppen Pass is situated 2½ km northeast of Gomp.
