Petatlán is a city in the municipality of Petatlán located along the Pacific Coast of the Mexican state of Guerrero. It is part of the Costa Grande region between Zihuatanejo and Acapulco. Petatlán is situated 9 km east of Progreso.

Barra de Potosí is a very small fishing village at the southern end of beautiful Playa Blanca in the state of Guerrero along the Pacific Coast of Mexico. The area is mostly known for days trips from local inland communities and from Zihuatanejo.
