The Mattstock is a mountain of the Appenzell Alps with an elevation of 1,936 metres, overlooking the Walensee in the canton of St. Gallen. It lies south of the Speer, on the range between the Toggenburg and the Linth valley. It is the Hausberg of Amden.

The Speer is a mountain in the Appenzell Alps with an elevation of 1,951 metres, located in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It is situated between the Toggenburg valley, the Linth Plain, and Lake Zurich, overlooking the region between Lake Zurich and Lake Walen. Speer is situated 3 km northwest of Schlemmebode.

Seerenbach Falls

The Seerenbach Falls are a cascading set of three waterfalls east of Betlis in the municipality of Amden. The waterfalls form a creek, the Seerenbach, which drains into Lake Walen. The Rinquelle joins the lowest of the Seerenbach Falls, creating a fourth one. Seerenbach Falls is situated 3½ km south of Schlemmebode.
