The osiedle Old City is the oldest historic district of the city of Zamość. It is one of World Heritage Sites in Poland. According to UNESCO, this monument value lies in it being "an outstanding example of a Renaissance planned town of the late 16th century… Old City of Zamość is situated 2½ km northeast of Skokówka.

Zamość railway station is located in Zamość, Poland on Szczebrzeska Street, near the zoological garden. The station was opened in 1916. Demolished during the World War II, its building was twice rebuilt in 1944 and 1963.
