The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts is a museum in West District, Taichung, Taiwan. NTMoFA was established in 1988 and is the first and the only national-grade fine arts museum in Taiwan.

Taiyuan is an elevated railway station on the Taiwan Railway Taichung line located in Beitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. Taiyuan Station was rebuilt with an elevated platform in 2016.

Beitun District is a district in Taichung, Taiwan. Located in the northern part of the city, it is a half mountainous, half urban area. Though Beitun District used to be considered part of the countryside, the new Taiyuan Station has urbanized it considerably.

Xitun District or Situn District is the second-most populated district of Taichung, Taiwan. It is located on the western side of the city. Once considered part of the countryside, the district has seen rapid growth in recent years with department store and office towers in the redevelopment zone. Xitun District is situated 4 km west of Mingxin Village.
