Batak is a town in Pazardzhik Province, southern Bulgaria, not far from the town of Peshtera. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Batak Municipality. As of December 2009, the town had a population of 3,498. Batak is situated 7 km south of Prilocheni Mogili.

The town is the third largest in the province after Pazardzhik and Velingrad and is the forty-fifth largest in Bulgaria. Peshtera is situated 8 km east of Prilocheni Mogili.
