The Chüemettler is a mountain of the Appenzell Alps in the canton of St. Gallen, overlooking Obersee. It lies west of the Speer and north of the Federispitz mountains.

The Speer is a mountain in the Appenzell Alps with an elevation of 1,951 metres, located in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It is situated between the Toggenburg valley, the Linth Plain, and Lake Zurich, overlooking the region between Lake Zurich and Lake Walen.

The Federispitz is a mountain of the Appenzell Alps, situated in the canton of St. Gallen, with an elevation of 1,865 metres. It lies south of the Speer and above the municipality of Schänis, overlooking the Walensee, the Linth Plain, and Lake Zurich. Federispitz is situated 2½ km south of Gleiter.

Rieden is a former municipality in the Wahlkreis of See-Gaster in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. On 1 January 2013 the former municipalities of Rieden and Ernetschwil merged into the municipality of Gommiswald. Rieden is situated 5 km northwest of Gleiter.
