Schonbrunn Palace

Schönbrunn Palace was the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers, located in Hietzing, the 13th district of Vienna. The name Schönbrunn has its roots in an artesian well from which water was consumed by the court. Schonbrunn Palace is situated 550 metres southeast of Hofpavillon Hietzing.

Schönbrunn Zoo is a 17-hectare zoo in the city of Vienna, Austria. Established in 1752, it is the world's oldest zoo still in operation. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, being a part of the Schönbrunn Palace gardens. Schönbrunn Zoo is situated 660 metres south of Hofpavillon Hietzing.

Hietzing is a station on U4 of the Vienna U-Bahn. It is located beside the canalised Vienna River, on the border of the Viennese districts Hietzing and Penzing, and at the north-western corner of the grounds of the Schönbrunn Palace. Hietzing station is situated 100 metres west of Hofpavillon Hietzing.
