Acaray River

The Acaray River is a river in eastern Paraguay. It is born in the Cordillera de Caaguazú, and is joined by the Yguazú and Itakyry rivers later on. The river flows through the Caaguazú and Alto Paraná Departments, and joins the Paraná River in an area between Ciudad del Este and Hernadarias, which was later modified for the construction of the Acaray Dam.

Buddhist Temple of Foz do Iguaçu

The Chen Tien Buddhist Temple in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, was built in 1996 by Chinese communities in the triple frontier region of Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina. It is associated with the Pure Land school of Buddhism.

Friendship Bridge

The Friendship Bridge is an arch bridge connecting the Brazilian city of Foz do Iguaçu and the Paraguayan city of Ciudad del Este. Friendship Bridge is situated 3½ km southeast of Parana Country Club.

Ciudad del Este is the most eastern and second largest city of Paraguay at the border with Brazil. Its main attraction for visitors is shopping. This place is one of the access points to a great natural wonder of the world, the Iguaçu Falls, a few kilometers away in the neighboring cities of Foz do Iguaçu and Puerto Iguazu.

Foz do Iguaçu is a major city in the Cascavel region, Brazil. It is a gateway to Paraguay and Argentina, and home of the famous Iguaçu Falls. Together with the cities of Ciudad del Este and Puerto Iguazu, it forms part of one of the largest cultural tourism areas in South America.
