Hohenau is a city and district of the Itapúa Department, Paraguay, and was the first of the Colonias Unidas. It was founded as a colony in 1900 by settlers of German descent, and maintains a significant population of German Paraguayans.
Obligado
Town
Obligado is a city and district in the Itapúa Department of Paraguay and one of the Colonias Unidas. It has been called "Capital City of Cooperativism" and the industrial capital of Itapúa. Obligado is situated 3½ km northeast of Los Colonos.
