Hakodate Airport is an airport located 7.6 km east of Hakodate Station in Hakodate, a city in Hokkaidō, Japan. It is owned by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and operated by Hokkaido Airports. Hakodate Airport is situated 3½ km west of Furukawacho.

The site of Shinoridate in Hakodate, Hokkaidō, Japan, is that once occupied by the Shinori Fort or Fortified Residence. This was the easternmost of the so-called "Twelve Garrisons of Southern Hokkaido", built on the Oshima Peninsula by the Wajin from the fourteenth century. Shinoridate is situated 3½ km west of Furukawacho.
