It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Lausanne–Geneva line of Swiss Federal Railways and the eastern terminus of the 1,000 mm gauge Bière–Apples–Morges line of Transports de la région Morges-Bière-Cossonay. Morges railway station is situated 1¼ km southwest of Morges-St-Jean railway station.
