The Emden Außenhafen station is a harbor station of the East Frisian city of Emden in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a terminus for InterCity and regional trains.

Nordseewerke Emden GmbH was a shipbuilding company, located in the Emden Harbor of the north German city of Emden. Founded in 1903, shipbuilding ended in 2010, and the company was taken over by the Schaaf Industrie AG, which among other products, makes components for off-shore systems. Nordseewerke is situated 1½ km northeast of Emden Außenhafen station.

Twixlum is a village in Lower Saxony, Germany. Located to the northwest of the city, it is administratively a district of Emden. The village was incorporated as such on 1 July 1972, as were the villages of Logumer Vorwerk and Wybelsum. Twixlum is situated 4½ km northwest of Emden Außenhafen station.
