Friedrichsdorf station is in the centre of Friedrichsdorf on Bahnstraße. Although the city has mostly dispensed with the appendage of "Taunus" in its name the station still officially retains it, although signs on the newest platform and Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund maps do not include it. Friedrichsdorf station is situated 1¼ km north of Seulberg station.

The Frankfurt Germany Temple is the 43rd constructed and 41st operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Located in the city of Friedrichsdorf, Germany, it was built with the same general architecture as the six-spire design used in the Boise, Chicago, and Dallas temples, but it was only given a single-spire. Frankfurt Germany Temple is situated 2 km north of Seulberg station.
