Leipzig Markt station

Leipzig Markt is a central railway station in the city of Leipzig, Germany. It was built as part of the Leipzig City Tunnel project and opened on 15 December 2013, enabling passengers to travel directly by rail from Leipzig Hauptbahnhof to the Markt square and the city centre.

The St. Thomas Church is a Lutheran church in Leipzig, Germany, located at the western part of the inner city ring road in Leipzig's central district. Martin Luther preached in the church in 1539. St. Thomas Church is situated 200 metres southwest of Leipzig Markt station.
