Kommos
Archaeological site
Kommos is an archaeological site in southern Crete. During the Minoan period, it served as a harbour town for nearby Phaistos and Hagia Triada. After the Bronze Age, a sanctuary was built over the ruins of the earlier town. Kommos is situated 2½ km northeast of Rock-cut tombs.
