San Francisco El Alto is a town, with a population of 38,995, and a municipality in the Totonicapán department of Guatemala. The municipality includes the villages or aldeas of: Chivarreto, Chirrenox, Pabatoc, Paxixil, Rancho de Teja, Pachaj, Sacmixit, San Antonio Sija, Saquicol Chiquito, and Tacajalbé. San Francisco El Alto is situated 5 km south of Pacol.

Riscos de Momostenango National Park is a protected natural area in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. The park is known for its natural rock formations, called hoodoos, carved by wind and rain erosion over a period of millenia.
