The Rigidalstock is a mountain of the Urner Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Nidwalden and Obwalden in Central Switzerland. It lies south of the Gross Walenstock. The closest locality is Engelberg on its southern side.

The Gross Walenstock is a mountain of the Urner Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Nidwalden and Obwalden in Central Switzerland. On its northern side it overlooks the Bannalpsee.

Engelberg railway station is a Swiss railway station in the municipality of Engelberg in the canton of Obwalden. It is the terminus of the Luzern–Stans–Engelberg line, which is owned by the Zentralbahn railway company. Engelberg railway station is situated 3 km south of Stock.

Wolfenschiessen is a village and municipality in the canton of Nidwalden in Switzerland. Besides the village of Wolfenschiessen itself, the municipality includes the settlements of Altzellen, Büren ob dem Bach, Dörfli, and Oberrickenbach, together with a large area of high alpine land, mountains, lakes, and glaciers. Wolfenschiessen is situated 7 km north of Stock.
