Chicabal Lake is a Guatemalan lake sacred to the Mam Mayan people. The lake is located in the municipal boundary of the town of San Martín Sacatepéquez in the department of Quetzaltenango. Chicabal Lake is situated 2½ km southeast of Cumbre de Tuilacán.

Chicabal is a 2,720 metres inactive volcano in the Quetzaltenango department of Guatemala. Its edifice has a volume of 12 km3. The volcano has a crater lake, Chicabal Lake, and is constructed within a collapse scar that may have been the consequence of a failure of a previous edifice.
