Bahrain, formerly known in Torwali as Bhaunal, is a town located in Upper Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, 60 km north of Mingora at an elevation of 4,700 ft on the right bank of the Swat river. Bahrain is situated 6 km southwest of Swat Valley.
