Located between the townships of Entremont-le-Vieux, Saint-Pierre-d'Entremont in Savoie and Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, its ridge marks the border between Isère and Savoie. Sommet du Pinet is situated 2½ km southeast of Épernay.
