Fort Frontenac was a French trading post and military fort built in July 1673 at the mouth of the Cataraqui River where the St. Lawrence River leaves Lake Ontario, in a location traditionally known as Cataraqui.

Slush Puppie Place is a 5,000-seat indoor arena in downtown Kingston, Ontario. Opened in 2008 as the K-Rock Centre, it is the home of the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League. Slush Puppie Place is situated 110 metres west of Fort Frontinac.
