Universität Essen is an underground station of the Essen Stadtbahn located in the northwest of the Essen Stadtkern district. It is located at the University of Duisburg-Essen campus. Today, lines U11 and U17 stop at the station.

Essen City Hall is a 23-storey, 106 m skyscraper in Essen, Germany. When completed on 1 July 1979, it was one of the tallest city halls in Europe and is currently the third tallest city hall in Germany after New Town Hall and Hamburg City Hall.
