Mahatet El Raml

Mahatet El Raml is a neighborhood in Alexandria, Egypt. It features a large public square containing the main station of the Alexandria tramways. It is one of the main centers for tourism, retail, and entertainment in the city. Mahatet El Raml is situated 120 metres west of Radio excavations.

It is a commemoration of the Library of Alexandria, once one of the largest libraries worldwide, which was lost in antiquity. Bibliotheca Alexandrina is situated 1 km northeast of Radio excavations.
