Pompei’s Pillar

Pompey's Pillar is a Roman triumphal column in Alexandria, Egypt. Despite its modern name, it was actually set up in honour of the Roman emperor Diocletian between 298–302 AD. Pompei’s Pillar is situated 120 metres northwest of Serapeum cistern escavations.

Kom El Deka, also known as Kom el-Dikka, is a neighborhood and archaeological site in Alexandria, Egypt. Early Kom El-Dikka was a well-off residential area, and later it was a major civic center in Alexandria, with a bath complex, auditoria, and a theatre. Kom el Deka (Roman stairs) is situated 1½ km northeast of Serapeum cistern escavations.
