Franco is a former civil parish and village in the municipality of Mirandela. It had 17,15 km² of area and 244 inhabitants. It was a civil parish with Vila Boa until 22 April 1957, and again merged on 28 January 2013 forming the Franco e Vila Boa parish following a nationwide administrative reform.

Vila Boa is a former civil parish and village in the municipality of Mirandela. It had 9,33 km² of area and 90 inhabitants. It was established on 22 April 1957 after leaving the Franco parish and in 28 January 2013 it merged with Franco once more to form the new Franco e Vila Boa parish.
