Claremont is a town in Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica. As of 2011, Claremont has a population of 1,773. The district of Claremont was first called "Finger Post" until it was renamed in honour of the first house built there, "Clermont House". Claremont is situated 4½ km northeast of Red Hill.

Nine Mile is a district in Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica, a few miles south of Brown's Town. The population was about 300 in 2009. On February 6, 1945, reggae musician Bob Marley was born in Nine Mile, and he was later buried there. Nine Mile is situated 8 km west of Red Hill.
