Swaminarayan Akshardham

Swaminarayan Akshardham is a Hindu temple and campus in Delhi, India. The temple is close to the border with Noida. Also known as Akshardham Temple or Akshardham Delhi, the complex displays traditional and modern Hindu culture and architecture.

Purana Qila

Purana Qila is one of the oldest forts in Delhi, India. It was built by the second Mughal Emperor Humayun and Surid Sultan Sher Shah Suri. The fort forms the inner citadel of the city of Dinpanah. Purana Qila is situated 5 km west of Preet Vihar.

Raj Ghat and associated memorials

Raj Ghat is a memorial complex in New Delhi, India. The first memorial was dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi where a black marble platform was raised to mark the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948 and consists of an eternal flame at one end. Raj Ghat and associated memorials is situated 5 km northwest of Preet Vihar.

Old Delhi is the Mughal-era walled city that comprises the historic core of Delhi. Constructed by the fifth Mughal ruler Shah Jahan as Shahjahanabad, Old Delhi is centred around the Red Fort and the Jama Masjid, as well as Chandni Chowk, a paradise for street food lovers.

Noida, an abbreviation of New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, is a satellite city of Delhi just across the state line in Uttar Pradesh.

East Delhi

East Delhi, on the eastern bank of the Yamuna River, is one of the victims of the city's urban sprawls over the last decades. Although not particularly attractive for history buffs, East Delhi is home to the Akshardham, Delhi's largest Hindu temple.
