Folly Lighthouse
Lighthouse
Built in 1888, Folly Lighthouse is a brick tower with lantern and gallery. It flashes a white light every 10 seconds that is visible for 13 miles. The light is solar powered. Folly Lighthouse is situated 4 km north of Lyda.

School
Titchfield High School is a secondary high school in Port Antonio, Jamaica, in the northern part of Portland Parish. The school was established in January 1786, and is the fifth-oldest high school in the country, after Wolmer's Boys', one of the Wolmer's Schools, Manning's School, St. Jago High School, and Rusea's High School. Titchfield High School is situated 3½ km northwest of Lyda.
