Kesälahti is a former municipality of Finland. It was consolidated with Kitee on 1 January 2013. It is located in the province of Eastern Finland and is part of the North Karelia region.

Niukkala is a village in the municipality of Parikkala in the region of South Karelia, Finland, on the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi. The village belonged to Uukuniemi municipality until the beginning of 2005, when Uukuniemi was merged with Parikkala. Niukkala is situated 9 km south of Karstalampi.
