Tambogrande is a small town in the Piura Province of the Piura Region in northwestern Peru. One of many small towns chosen as a site for mining development during Peru's mining boom in 1999, Tambogrande achieved prominence for successfully opposing the Manhattan Minerals mining development in the area. Tambogrande is situated 7 km south of San Miguel Alto CP-3.

It is approximately halfway between the towns of Chulucanas and Sullana in the Loma Blanca hills between the Chira River and the Piura River.
