Matenadaran

The Matenadaran, officially the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts, is the largest center for the storage, study and popularization of Armenian manuscripts, combining the functions of a museum, archive and scientific institution. Matenadaran is situated 460 metres east of Yerevan Cascade.

The Aznavour Centre is Aznavour Foundation's first cultural project. The French President Emmanuel Macron and the Armenian President Armen Sarkissian were present at the Aznavour Centre project presentation. Museum of Charle Aznavour is situated 190 metres northwest of Yerevan Cascade.

The Cafesjian Center for the Arts is an art museum in Yerevan, Armenia. It is located at the central Kentron District, in and around the Yerevan Cascade which is a complex of massive staircase with fountains, ascending up from the Tamanyan Street gardens and pedestrian zone. Cafesjian Sculpture Garden is situated 230 metres south of Yerevan Cascade.

Kond is one of the oldest quarters of Yerevan. It is situated within the boundaries of the modern-day Kentron District of the capital of Armenia. According to Hovhannes Shahkhatunyants, an Armenian historian, Kond is located at the western and southern hillsides and foot of a rocky hill with similar name.
