Estadio BBVA

Estadio BBVA, formerly known as Estadio BBVA Bancomer, is an association football stadium located in Guadalupe, Greater Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Dubbed "El Gigante de Acero", it replaced the Estadio Tecnológico as the home of C.F. Estadio BBVA is situated 2½ km southeast of Diez de Mayo.

Torre Ciudadana

Torre Ciudadana also known as the Centro de Gobierno Plaza Civica is a state government office skyscraper in Monterrey, Mexico. Built between 2007 and 2010, the tower stands at 180 m tall with 36 floors, is the current 21st tallest building in Mexico and the 7th tallest in Monterrey. Torre Ciudadana is situated 3½ km west of Diez de Mayo.

Outer Monterrey

Outer Monterrey refers to the parts of the city of Monterrey beyond the Centro district. This is a very large area and includes areas north and west of el Centro and areas to the south and east of el Centro.

Eastern suburbs

The Eastern suburbs of Monterrey include a number of municipalities, the largest of which are Guadalupe and San Nicolas de los Garza. Monterrey's international airport is in the eastern suburb of Apodaca, which has seen tremendous development in the early 21st century, making it one of the fastest growing parts of Monterrey.

Centro is the central downtown area of Monterrey. It includes popular tourist areas like the Macroplaza and Barrio Antiguo. For the purposes of this district article, it is bounded by Ruiz Cortines on the north, Churubusco on the east, Carranza on the west, and the Santa Catarina River to the south.
