Novgrad is a village in the northeastern part of Bulgaria, close to the Bulgaria–Romania border. It is situated in the Ruse Province, and is a part of the Tsenovo Municipality, which lies in the western part the province. Novgrad is situated 7 km southeast of Ostrovul Gâsca.

The village of Vardim is located in the central part of the Danubian plain about 10 km east of Svishtov towards Ruse. Vardim is situated 7 km southwest of Ostrovul Gâsca.
