Gacheno is a town in Wolayita Zone, South Ethiopia Regional State, Ethiopia. Gacheno is located about 287 km via B51 away from Addis Ababa to the south and also 31 km away from Sodo to the North, the capital of Wolaita Zone within Damot Gale woreda. Gacheno is situated 5 km southwest of Buge.

Shone is the major town of Badawacho, Hadiya Zone, Central Ethiopia. The major landmarks are St Georgis Orthodox Church and the Shone Health Centre. The town was the constituency which in the May 2000 elections elected Beyene Petros, leader of the SEPDU, and chairman of the opposition CAFPDE. Shone is situated 8 km north of Buge.
