Nuottasaari is bounded by the delta of the Oulujoki river in the Northwest, the Bothnian Bay and the Äimärautio district in the South and the Limingantulli, Leveri and Hollihaka districts in the East. Nuottasaari is situated 5 km northeast of Heikola.
