Fogo Natural Park is a protected area located on Fogo Island in Cape Verde, an archipelago nation in the central Atlantic Ocean. Established in 2003, the park encompasses an area of 84.69 km2, representing 17.8% of the island's total landmass.

Pico do Fogo is an active stratovolcano located on the island of Fogo, Cape Verde, rising to 2,829 metres above sea level. The main cone last erupted in 1680, causing mass emigration from the island. Pico do Fogo is situated 4 km southeast of Monte Amarelo.

Chã das Caldeiras - literally the Plateau of the Crater - is the area inside the original crater that created the island of Fogo 100000 years ago. The villages of Portela and Bangaeria are effectively joined as they sprawl for a kilometer or two on the main road that crosses the crater.
