Shuniah

Shuniah is a municipal township in , , Canada, bordering the city of to the southwest. Shuniah was incorporated by an act of the Ontario legislature in 1873, and at that time included much of present-day Thunder Bay and its predecessor and surrounding municipalities.

The , built in 1909, was an early tourist bureau promoting the city of Port Arthur, Ontario. Located on the waterfront and close to the former train station, the pagoda was intended to attract the attention of visitors arriving by rail or water. is situated 3½ km south of Shuniah.
