Khanchali Lake is a tectonic-volcanic lake in Ninotsminda Municipality, Samtskhe–Javakheti region of Georgia. Located in the central part of the Javakheti Plateau, at 1931 m above sea level. Khanchali Lake is situated 3½ km west of Hayos - Kartlos Park.

Ninotsminda is a town and a center of the Ninotsminda Municipality located in Georgia's southern district of Samtskhe-Javakheti. According to the 2014 census the town has a population of 5,144. The vast majority of the population are Armenians.
