Nestled in the pristine Adirondacks, Lake George is a year-round tourist destination. It is 45 minutes outside of Saratoga Springs and 1 hour north of Albany, and is worth the effort it takes to get there.
Saranac Lake

Ticonderoga is a town in Essex County, New York, United States. The population was 5,042 at the 2010 census. The name comes from the Mohawk tekontaró:ken, meaning "it is at the junction of two waterways".
Elizabethtown

Elizabethtown is a town in Essex County, New York, United States. The population was 1,163 at the 2010 census. The county seat of Essex County is the hamlet of Elizabethtown, located in the northern part of the town.
Westport

Westport is a town in Essex County, New York, United States overlooking Lake Champlain. The population was 1,320 at the 2020 census. The town is on the eastern border of the county and is 41 miles south of Plattsburgh and 103 miles south of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Keene
Old Forge

Old Forge is a village of about 750 people in the Adirondacks. As one of the western gateway communities of the Adirondack Park, Old Forge forms an extensive business district, primarily directed at tourism especially during the summer months.

Crown Point

Chester

The Town of Chester is made of several communities in the Adirondacks around the small hamlet of Chestertown. Other hamlets within the town boundaries include Pottersville, Friends Lake, Loon Lake, and Schroon Lake.
