Amazonas state is a huge state in southern . The Amazonas State is located in southern Venezuela, where Bolivar state boundaries to the north, the Republic of Brazil, the state of Bolivar and Brazil to the east and the Republic of Colombia to the west.

Duida–Marahuaca National Park is a protected area in Amazonas state, Venezuela. It has an area of 210,000 ha, and includes the Duida–Marahuaca Massif. The national park was established in 1978.
