Baldwin City

Baldwin City is a city in in southern Douglas County where the soil is rich and wildlife is plentiful. Baldwin City is the home of the oldest college west of the Mississippi, and of wildflowers in profusion, some patches of the old prairie grasses, and some fine outdoor recreational resources reserved for public use.
