Beira Litoral
Beira Litoral is a historic province of the central region of Portugal. While not an administrative region anymore in its own right, it retains an identity separate from the rest of Centro by being relatively more densely populated and defined by the closeness of the seaside.

Beira Alta is a historic province of the Central region of Portugal. The chief cities/district capitals are Guarda and Viseu.
Beira Baixa
Beira Baixa is a former province of the Central region of Portugal. It roughly corresponds to the current Castelo Branco District. It is mostly rural, except for the cities of Castelo Branco and Covilhã.
