Although Berne is the seat of most of the institutions of the Swiss Confederation, the remarkable design coherence of Berne's old town has earned it a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Biel
Biel/Bienne is the 10th largest city of Switzerland and is located on the northern edge of the canton of Berne. Famous for watchmaking, and home to Rolex, Omega and Swatch among other famous makers.
Solothurn
Solothurn is a town in Switzerland, in the Berne Region at the southern edge of the Jura Mountains, on the River Aare, the capital of the canton of Solothurn.
