Richmond is a city in the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky, about 30 miles south of Lexington. The county seat of Madison County, Richmond is best known as the home of Eastern Kentucky University.

Paris is a home rule-class city in Bourbon County, Kentucky, and the county seat. It lies 18 miles northeast of Lexington on the Stoner Fork of the Licking River.

Nicholasville is a city of 31,000 in Jessamine County in the Bluegrass Region. The city serves as both a residential area for Lexington-area commuters and as an employment and shopping center for central Kentucky.

Danville is a home rule-class city and the county seat of Boyle County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 17,236 at the 2020 census. Danville is the principal city of the Danville Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of the Boyle and Lincoln counties.

Berea is a small city in Kentucky's Bluegrass Region in southern Madison County about 15 miles south of Richmond and 45 miles south of Lexington. The community has experienced major population growth: 38% from 2000 to 2010, and 16% to 2018.
Mount Sterling

Mount Sterling is a city in Kentucky. While it lies within the state tourism region known as the Kentucky Appalachians, it is locally considered part of the Bluegrass region, which covers a noticeably larger area than the state-defined tourism region of that name.
