Brașov is a city in Transylvania, Romania. It's set in the Carpathian Mountains in the centre of the country, 180 km from Bucharest. It's mostly a modern industrial city with a population of about 250,000, but the reason to visit is the well-preserved Old Town.

Râșnov is a town in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania with a population of 15,920 as of 2021. It is located at about 15 km southwest of the city of Brașov and about the same distance from Bran, on DN73, a road that links Wallachia and Transylvania.

Săcele is a city in Brașov County, Romania, in the Burzenland area of southeastern Transylvania, with a population of 30,920 inhabitants in 2021. It is adjacent to the city of Brașov, its city centre being situated 15 kilometres away from downtown Brașov.

Rupea is a town in Brașov County in Transylvania, Romania. It administers one village, Fișer. Both Fișer and Rupea have fortified churches. Older Romanian names for the settlement include Cohalm and Holuma.

Poiana Brașov is a neighborhood of Brașov and a Romanian ski resort. After the 2010s modernization, the ski area has expanded from 50 hectares to 80 hectares and the slope’s length increased from 13.8 km to 23.9 km.
