Rancagua

Rancagua is a city in the O'Higgins Region. It is somewhat of a tourist destination, though largely because of the vineyards that have been developed in the surrounding area. Rancagua also offers sports centers and easy access to smaller villages and towns.

Viña del Mar is a beach resort town close to Santiago in Central Chile. It's the most important beach in the country. It plays host to a famous music festival every year in late-February.
Talca

Talca is a city of 220,000 people in Central Chile. It is the capital of Talca Province and of Maule Region. Talca personifies the Chilean characteristics of being isolated, insular and very local.

Portillo is a ski resort in Central Chile. It is close to the Argentine border, and the skiing area runs right across the serpentine road to Mendoza.
Valle Nevado

Valle Nevado is a large ski resort in the Andes mountains of Central Chile, close to Santiago. The resort has a skiable area of 900 hectares, snowmaking capability available, and on-site lodging and resort services.
