Guatemala City is the capital of Guatemala, a country in Central America. With a population of around 3 million people, Guatemala City is the largest and most modern city in Guatemala.
Antigua Guatemala
La Antigua Guatemala was the colonial Spanish capital of Central America. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is perhaps Guatemala's most popular tourist destination.

Pacaya Volcano is in Central Highlands region of Guatemala. Pacaya is an active volcano that showed spectacular eruptions for several years. There is still some volcanic activity but there is no hot lava to be seen anymore.

Chimaltenango is a mid-size city of about 100,000 people in the Central Highlands region just west of Guatemala City.

Laguna Lachuá National Park is a Guatemala national park in the country's Central Highlands region. The park features a large, crystal clear lake where you can swim, camp, hike, and observe nature. It is a designated Ramsar wetland.
Candelaria Caves National Park

Candelaria Caves National Park is a protected natural area featuring one of the largest cave systems in Central America. It is a karst system formed by the Rio Candelaria, which flows through the underground limestone, carving out mammoth chambers along its path.
Naciones Unidas National Park

Naciones Unidas National Park is the oldest national park in Guatemala. It protects a 5-km² area of natural forest and is popular for its wooded hiking trails and its views of both the Pacaya Volcano and Lake Amatitlán.
Las Victorias National Park
Las Victorias National Park is a protected area of forest and lakefront amid the urban jungle of Cobán in central Guatemala. The park is fairly small for a national park and is used mostly by locals as a weekend recreation area for hiking, picnics, and camping.
