Durant
Durant is in the Chickasaw Country region of Oklahoma. Teddy and Eleanor Roosevelt once spoke here, even though it was a sundown town. It gained impetus through the railroad and eventually became a major commerce area for the Choctaw Tribe, with their casino and other investments.| Tap on a place to explore it |
